Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Without you ladies, we would have all probably died via climbing trees or falling off cliffs. We still did those things, but we were wearing helmets.

Happy First Mother's Day to Jeni! She is the glue that holds this whole thing together. Thank you.

Well, Kenzie threw a curve ball for Jeni's first Mother's Day as we woke up to her screaming this morning in obvious discomfort. So we took her to the doctor to get checked out and we were informed she has double ear infections. At least this morning, when she wasn't sleeping - she was wailing pretty good.

Her breathing sounds like a Pterodactyl and Chewbacca had a baby. 

She started feeling better once we got the antibiotics and numbing ear drops. Jeni and her lounged in bed throughout the day and I attempted making brunch. French toast and sausage.

Once she woke up from one of her long naps, she was starting to smile again and not just scream. It was gorgeous outside, so we went to the unofficial dog park up the street to walk around.

The family ride: Layla called shotgun.

I'm feeling a bit better.

And we caught Kenzie red handed being a thumb sucker.
