Belated Father's Day

Since I missed my first Father's Day while I was in Omaha for the College World Series, Jeni planned a trip down to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC on Saturday. We went to the zoo for a few hours and then headed out to Congaree National Park for a quick hike.

We spent a few hours around the zoo and Kenz seemed to have a good time. She seemed to be tracking the animals in the Aquarium and Reptile house as they were close and moving. It was tougher for the ones farther away and stationary.

Like I said, we went to take a hike at Congaree, which turned into a run because...

Let's just say, we wish we would've seen this sign before we left the visitor center. With the run, we didn't take too many pics of the swamp.

Dad/Ryan - still not as bad as the Boundary Waters since I don't think they have a level for that amount of mosquitoes.
