We got her dressed up in her most ostentatious hat so she could show off for her new friends and she was all smiles. (Thanks Lois!)
These were taken with me leaning in the back seat in the day care parking lot. There was no trouble pointing out "the new dad". That was just the tip of the iceberg.
When I walked in, I basically stared at the sign-in sheet like it was written in German even though it was very clear. Befuddled is the only term that properly exemplifies this experience for anyone watching. The nice lady came over to help and just kept repeating that it was in order by first letter of last name. I kept thinking she meant the one section the book was open to, when it was the whole binder. As I stared at her with utter confusion, I think she took a mental note that if Kenzie has her dad's intelligence she is not going into any "advanced" rooms.
Guess we can only improve from there...
Here is her room and her morning caregiver, Ms. Jennifer (I can't think of a better term).
