An Apple A Day

Yesterday, we had Kenzie's 10 day check-up at the doctor's office. Her weight is continuing to go back up, but not quite back to birth weight yet. She is currently at 5 lbs. 13 oz and still eating like a champ, so they are not worried. We go back next Wednesday where they want her to be back up to the 6 lbs. 1 oz. if not more.

She is basically the size of one of those personal watermelons.

We also asked a few questions like "Are we allowed to go on an outing?" which was a firm no since she is still really young and it is a terrible time of the year to be in public.

So our initial plan was to go to the mall afterward yesterday as we had to return some items and we got her quilt monogrammed. Since she wasn't allowed to go, Jeni went in (somehow has been shopping 3 times even though Kenz is not even 2 weeks old) and we took a nap in the car.
