Frank the Tank

You know how wrestlers drastically try to drop weight right before their matches so they can get into a lower weight class? Well, we were doing the exact opposite hoping that Kenz would make weight for her two week doctor appointment. She got as much boob and bottle as we could muster. She was basically Frank the Tank with breast milk. The one thing wrestling and this did have in common is there was lots of puke involved.

The good news is - it worked! Kenz was 6 lbs 5 oz which is 4 oz over her birth weight. The doctors were very happy with her progress and she is still healthy. She is still a little nugget and not quite Big Pun yet. Next visit is Jan. 25 for her one month check-up.

We also took a family walk today since we are getting a little bit of cabin fever and it was really nice out today. We have also be told not to go out in "true" public since she is still young and its flu season. It's probably a good bit of advice, because at this point, we shouldn't be seen in public since we are so sleep deprived. We had visitors tonight and my fly was down for the first 5 minutes they were here. Who knows what tomorrow holds!
