Watch Out for the Approaching Pack of Grandparents!

As you probably know, not only did Kenzie surprise us by coming two weeks early; but also we did not learn what she was going to be until the delivery. Therefore we got to tell everyone the news including the pack of marauding grandparents roaming the labor and delivery unit at the hospital thirsty for hugs and baby pictures. I stepped out of the room and the pack had already eyed me and here is what transpired:

If you see any of these four, be aware they can only be satisfied through contact with babies. Jim (now GrandPaJames - like pajamas, ask him about his new nickname) was undoubtedly a Japanese tourist in a past life taking pictures of everything. He even took pictures of the equipment and maybe even a vending machine.

Jackie is the gifter who will buy random items as long as they are "a deal". You could just take a movable sign that says SALE and throw it in front of items to get her to purchase.

Tom is the snatcher who will steal a newborn right from your arms to hold. Now that he is old and retired, he  is somehow trying to regain the fountain of youth through contact with grandkids.

No making fun of St. Mern since she has been here a week until this morning helping us with Kenzie and doing a bunch of cleaning. Great maid, you should hire her if you have the money.
